This is a unique opportunity to taste the best wines produced in the Berardenga territory and to appreciate the artistic works created by the students of the Liceo Artistico in Siena.

The sixth edition of “Castelnovino” – the event dedicated to quality wine – will take place on Saturday 2nd June in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the evocative setting of Villa Chigi Saracini. It’s sponsored by the Municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga and the Consorzio del Chianti Classico.

On June 2nd you‘ll be able to take part in a great show of taste and beauty, and enjoy excellent wine, mouthwatering street food, and art. All in honour of the sublime Chianti Classico.

From 6pm to 12am the wineries of the Chianti hills will be the stars of the show. Their precious reds will be accompanied by “gourmet dishes” prepared by six restaurants of Castelnuovo.

For this sixth edition the following wine producers will be present: Fattoria dell’Aiola, Azienda agricola Allegretti, Carpineta Fontalpino-Cresti, Fattoria di Petroio, Azienda Agricola La Lama, Villa a Sesta, Fattoria di Corsignano, Felsina, Castello di Bossi, Az. Agricola Losi, Poderi di Miscianello, Tenuta D’Arceno, San Felice, Dievole, Poggio Bonelli, Lecci e Brocchi, Vallepicciola, Le Trosce, Bindi Sergardi, Tolaini, Canonica a Cerreto, Fattoria di Valiano.

The beautiful gardens of Villa Chigi will host spaces dedicated to gastronomy, where you’ll be able to try some first-rate dishes thanks to: Ristorante Quei 2, Salumi Minucci, Enoteca Bengodi, AnonimaX, Ristorante Podere Casato. Don’t miss the artisan gelato from Pit Stop , the desserts from the Antichi Sapori pastry shop and Bar Centrale.

The garden of Villa Chigi will turn into an authentic “Art Village” thanks to the students of Siena art institute, who will be able to exhibit their works in this evocative setting.

A light show will make the beautiful Villa Chigi truly shine, magically illuminating the facades and highlighting the architectural features that date back to the eighteenth century,

But there’s more. Live music by the excellent Jazz Shock The Monk, with maestro Massimo Guerri as a special guest – and in a special ‘spazio Slow’, Alessandro Alex Baldi will dedicate words & music to all the participants in “Parole & Musica”.

This is an extraordinary evening, that brings together the best of a territory, which is known all over the world.
