A non-competitive walk (18 kilometer trekking, 5 kilometer fun walk) is in its fifth edition in San Polo in Chianti.

The “Scarpinata fra i giaggioli” (Walking among the iris) highlights a walk through a sea of the beautiful flowers. San Polo is famous for the flower, grown for the production and sales of its precious rootstock.

May, Sunday 7 the meeting place is at the school piazza at 7:30 AM. The walk leaves at 9. The cost is 6 euros with a participation prize or 2 euros without.

The 6 most numerous groups will win a prize. Pre-registration is available until May 5 at: serena.cherubini@libero.it or luigi.urbino@gmail.com.

A non-competitive medical certificate is required for the 18 kilometer trail. There will be 2 refreshment stops along the route and one at the end. Dressing rooms will be available.
