The Medieval period is back on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September … in Barberino Val d’Elsa.
With the eleventh edition of the historical re-enactment Memoriae et Historiae de Semifonte, the initiative organized between the Municipal Union of Florentine Chianti and the non-profit association Happy Days onlus.
Two days in the historic heart of the village (Bandiera Arancione – Orange Flag) to propose a journey into the past, back in time until the year one thousand.
Through the streets of the hamlet for the entire weekend medieval life is rebuilt inside the historic center through the performances of music, dance and street art, with the involvement of jugglers, stilt walkers, musicians and stornellators, fire dances and military duels.
There are also many medieval games and exhibitions that will enrich the program of the event: you can, of course, also eat. Free entry and parking.
