In Tavarnelle music is back this summer: from 13th July to 17th August its historic centre will become the stage where the passion and the talent of different Tuscan bands will come to life.
“La Piazza vive, Viva la piazza” is the music festival that enriches the cultural offering of the Unione Comunale del Chianti Fiorentino.
This year the event has reached its fourteenth edition, under the artistic direction of the Officine Creative del Chianti Music School.
On July 20th a performance by the Quartagramma Vocal Project, a quartet of female voices that will put on the great classics of rock, pop and jazz music.
On July 27th the stage in Piazza Matteotti will turn the spotlight on the Deb Jones Quartet, a journey through the most famous songs of soul music.
On August 3rd, the Fab Four in concert with the “Liverpool Station” show.
On August 10th the Two of Us will flood the magical night of San Lorenzo with music, ranging from pop, tango, fado, soul and jazz.
On the final day, 17th August will be the turn of the Big Band 50Zero28 concert. This local band, from Tavarnelle, will perform the most beautiful songs from the repertoire of swing orchestras from the ’30s and’ 40s.
