After last edition’s success, the live nativity scene at the foot of the Brolio Castle (Castello di Brolio) returns on Tuesday 26th December and Sunday 7th January, in the beautiful surroundings of San Regolo.

The event, promoted by the Chianti parishes, will take place from 4pm to 7pm.

The square and the oratory behind the church will come alive with a re-enactment of the many trades of the time, shepherds, carpenters; there will also be a synagogue, Herod’s palace, and the encampment of Governor Quirinio.

A beautiful live ‘presepe’ with many characters in period costume and a magical setting.

And for the pleasure of the palate, there will be roasted chestnuts, donzelle, oven baked schiacciate (Tuscan flat bread), bruschetta with oil, mulled wine, tea and pies.
