Saturday and Sunday, May 6 and 7, are the dates set for the fabulous “Festa dei Fiori” (Flower Festival), which, like every year, will light up piazza Matteotti in the heart of Greve in Chianti, with the colors of nature and irresistible fragrnces.

In front of the statue of Igor Mitoraij, among the arcades, butcher shops, restaurants, cafès, and wine shops, you can spend your time admiring the exhibitors who will fill the piazza in front of the statue of Giovanni Da Verrazzano.

Many varieties of plants, including roses, azaleas, begonias, geraniums, hydrangeas, lemons and oranges, plants, cacus and aromatic herbs will be on show.

You will be able to literally lose yourself in a sea of flowers….in the heart of Chianti Classico.
