In Gaiole in Chianti appointment with the night trekking “Full moon between churches and castles”, Sunday 22 August, with meeting at 7.30 pm at the tourist office of Gaiole in Chianti.
The route will allow you to admire the Pieve di Spaltenna with the full moon, and then touch the Castle of Meleto, with a brief stop at the Big Bench, the first giant bench of the Chianti Classico with a view of the thirteenth-century castle and the vineyards of Meleto.
The trek continues with a passage in front of the Parco delle Api and refreshments at the Verdimonti farm.
The 8-kilometer route has a medium difficulty. Trekking boots and a flashlight are mandatory.
The participation fee is 10 euros for refreshments and 5 euros for compulsory insurance for those who are not Fie members.
