Have you ever gone to a moonlit picnic with quality wines in a vineyard? The occasion will soon be available: for the next edition of “Calici di Stelle”, the Movimento Turismo del Vino Toscana will offer all wine tourists and fans the possibility to live a unique experience from sunset on, tasting traditional products, accompanied by Tuscan wines and music or other forms of entertainment, all under the starry skies of wine cellars and vineyards.
“Enjoy the stars, we’ll take care of the wine”, is the claim of the Movimento Turismo del Vino Toscana. The event will take place from August 10, the night of San Lorenzo, to August 15, with a rich program [click here] spread out among tens of cellars adhering to the initiative. The events were created to excite wine lovers during the period of shooting stars, in the heart of the summer.
The stars will be visible thanks to the star map that the Movimento Turismo del Vino Toscana will distribute to all participants: a map of the stars of August, together with a kit to “enjoy the moment” and be ready to make a wish while toasting with the best wines and enjoying nature in the winegrowing area of the region.
Each cellar will adhere to the initiative and offer the possibility of watching the stars directly from their vineyards. From those on the sea of Maremma to the coast of the “Etruschi”, passing by the Val d’Orcia and the grand Tuscan appellations; Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano.
The many wineries taking part in the event will organize numerous initiatives from August 10-15; music, art, shows and wine tasting under the starry skies. (on www.mtvtoscana.com thanks to the new system of geo-referencing by the cellars, it will be possible to best organize your evening).
