Like every year arrives “Monteaperti past and present”, the festival organized to commemorate a historic battle, fought on 4 September 1260 between the Guelphs and Ghibellines.

The 2016 Edition will be held from Friday 19 August to Sunday 4 September, with a full schedule of events, dedicated to music, culture, sport and popular cuisine. Among the events not to be missed there will be Sunday, September 4 with the revival of ancient crafts, the traditional dinner in battle and the torchlight from the Acqua Borra at mile Monteaperti.
