Montefiridolfi (in the municipality of San Casciano) is preparing for the Santa Cristina Festival, from Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 July.
The celebration program began with Holy Mass on Saturday 16 July at 18 and the next morning, before the celebrations in Fabbrica (9 am) there is breakfast in the garden at the club bar and the start of the bike tour in Sant’Angelo for adults and children (8.15).
Do not miss dinner in the square as usual, with the exhibition of historical photos “Monte and Montigiani” (reservations to the Cartoleria Arcobaleno, + 39 055 8244434). Monday night instead of projecting the circle an animated film for the whole family and to follow the “cocomerata” (watermelon).
Tuesday is held the final of the volleyball tournament in the sports area and the public prepared drinks and sandwiches with lampredotto.
Wednesday (from 7pm) space for wooden games for adults and children with ”The Good Sollazzo Engineering” (with drinks, popcorn and crepes with Nutella).
The day of the great treasure hunt at night is Thursday, July 21 (from 9pm) to follow with fruit salad and ice cream for all. Friday there is a screening of a documentary at the sports area. Saturday 23 Mass is still at 6pm in Montefiridolfi and 8pm is scheduled to apericena the circle with the play “Tale e quale Show” (with music and Vivoli ice cream to follow).
The grand final is Sunday, July 24, with the fireworks (at 11pm), but the 17 are ready donuts with ice cream at the club and at 9pm Mass of Santa Cristina ends with a procession through the streets of the town.
