The Società Filarmonica of Castellina in Chianti was founded in 1857 and is one of the oldest cultural institution in town.
The Filarmonica opens the concert season with this concert in SS. Salvatore Church, starting at 6 pm.
The Filarmonica has a band, with a lot of young musicians from the music school and it promotes and organizes musical laboratories in cooperation with the municipality of Castellina, with primary and secondary school with projects of musical learning.
