After the success of the first edition last year, the Associazione Viticoltori Montefioralle presents an exceptional initiative, creating a knowledgeable mix of the land, its wine, and fine cuisine and music.
“A cena con i viticoltori di Montefioralle”, a dinner open to the public with the magical background of Villa Calcinaia (a Greve in Chianti), will take place on Friday, June 30, starting at 8:30 PM. It begins with an aperitif in the garden at 8 PM.
Villa Calcinaia is one of the most beautiful of Chianti, where you can sit and taste the best wines of the territory accompanied by excellent cuisine.
What is a better way to spend a Friday night in early summer? The menu includes eggplant “sformatino” stuffed with pappa al pomodoro with basil and mint pesto; crepes with seasonal vegetables with fondue; stuffed “faraona” in a red wine reduction, and grilled vegetables; zuppa inglese.
The meal will be accompanied by Chianti Classico and Chianti Classico Riserva from the producers of the Associazione Viticoltori Montefioralle.

It is a sort of “cru”, specific territory within the area of Chianti Classico. Dinner will be enriched by the precious contribution of Rossana Fani and Raffaello Ravasio, a duo playing flute and guitar. They will play passages from, among others, Mozart, Bach e Vivaldi.
Price: 35 euros per person; 30 euros for members of AIS, Enoclub, FISAR, ONAV. Places are limited.
