This year, in its sixth edition, the naturalistic–culinary stroll, “Di Borgo in Borgo” (From Town to Town), returns. Organized by the Circolo Arci La Rampa and the Polisportiva of Tavarnelle, the walk goes from Barberino Val d’Elsa to Tavarnelle.

The walk is sponsored by the Town Union of Chianti Fiorentino, with the collaboration of the membership of the Unicoop of Tavarnelle.

All proceeds will be used for buying equipment for Mocale Park in Tavarnelle. The meeting place on Sunday, September 11, at 9 AM, is Piazza Matteotti in Tavarnelle.

The walk begins with a visit to Marcello Corti’s  Palazzuolo Winery. This will be followed by a visit to Villa Salvini, historic estate of the 1600’s noble family, Naldini Del Riccio. Breakfast on the panoramic terrace of the Villa Muricci follows. We continue with a visit to the Regina (Queen) Margherita Theatre in Marcialla and the Santa Maria Church.

Still in Marcialla, we will visit the Giannozzi wine cellars and continue with lunch in the Santa Maria church’s garden. After lunch, there will be a visit to the Villa San Lorenzo in Vigliano. The trip ends with an estimated 6 PM arrival at Mocale Park in Tavarnelle, where there will be focaccia and gelato for everybody.
