The organization is of Pro Loco San Casciano, with the collaboration of the National Association of the City of Oil, with the patronage of the Municipality of San Casciano and the contribution of ChiantiBanca.

And there are many farms that have joined the three Sundays of events and initiatives in June dedicated to extra virgin olive oil.

The “Merende nell’Oliveta”, on 13, 20 and 27 June.

Tasting courses, educational workshops, meetings with olive growers, agronomists, oil millers and historians, reading of oil-themed poems, dance performances, live music and theatrical performances.

To rediscover the value of conviviality and appreciate the extra virgin olive oil produced in the olive growing areas of the Oil Cities, combined with local gastronomic excellence.
