Thanks to the Amici della Musica Association (and to the Misericordia of Barberino Tavarnelle) the Pentecoste Festival (edition number 34) has also been scheduled for this year in the monastic cloister of the millenary Abbey of Badia a Passignano.
Organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle, the Tuscany Region and the Metropolitan City of Florence. With the support of ChiantiBanca and Toscana Energia. The artistic director is Tiziano Mealli.
Four dates with free admission (start at 21.30), with reservations required (at firstname.lastname@example.org) for compliance with anti-Covid regulations. And precedence to the members of the association itself.
It starts on Saturday 18 July, with Daniele Giorgini, violin (concert player) – Strings of the ORT. Music by Beethowen and W.A. Mozart.
It continues on Friday 24 July, with Francesca Dego (violin) and Daniele Rustioni (piano). Music by Beethowen, Tchaikovsky, Boccadoro, Ysay, Ravel.
Third appointment on Saturday 25 July, Harmoniemusik – I Fiati dell’ORT. Music by W.A. Mozart, C. Gounod, G. Donizetti, G. Rossini.
Closing Sunday 2 August, Gli Archi di Badia, “The Four Seasons”, by A. Vivaldi.
