After graduation from the University of Florence, Italy, with a degree in viticulture and enology and a thesis on the export of Chianti Classico to the US, Dario participated in harvests in different areas of the winemaking world. He worked as cellarhand and lab analyst in Sardinia, Languedoc, New Zealand and Gascony and as winemaker at Ruffino spa in Tuscany and E&J Gallo in California.
Since 2006, with his company, Le Uve, he has collaborated with wineries from different areas of Tuscany on viticultural, enological and wine marketing aspects supported by collaborators specialized in each phase of the winemaking process. He currently teaches Wine Business at the American Universities of Lorenzo de Medici in Florence and the Umbra Institute in Perugia.
