“Vignaioli di Radda”, the annual wine tasting event organised by the association of the same name, will see an important update for this third edition, thanks to the collaboration with Life of Wine on Tour (communication agency specialising in food & wine, which promotes wines with ageing potential).

On the 24th May the 24 winegrowers belonging to the association will also offer up their old vintages, that represent the territory of Radda in Chianti, a territory which is not only suited to producing top-quality wines, but also wines with great ageing potential. Wines that evolve beautifully in the bottle.

The event (unfortunately sold out for the general public), will take place in Casa Chianti Classico, offering visitors the opportunity to get to know the Radda area and taste the locally produced wines.

The participants will be discovering the area by 4×4, a land where many exceptional wines are born, wines that are appreciated all over the world. This is a great chance to get to the heart of this famous part of the Chianti Classico territory, a scenic and rich wine making area, which is well represented by the 24 producers who have come together to promote winemaking excellence.

Beyond their different company sizes, origins and personal stories, they all share a common love for this wonderful territory and the desire to preserve it and communicate its values using a common language.

Respect for the environment and biodiversity, knowledge of the area and its cultural and enological traditions, wines produced from local grapes and the focus on the Sangiovese variety: these are some of the main points written in the Statute of the association.

Wineries associated with the Associazione Vignaioli di Radda: Borgo La Stella, Borgo Salcetino, Brancaia, Cantina Castelvecchi, Caparsa, Castello di Albola, Castello di Monterinaldi, Castello di Radda, Castello di Volpaia, Castello di Monterinaldi, Colle Bereto, Fattoria di Montemaggio, Istine, L’Erta di Radda, Monteraponi, Montevertine, Podere Capaccia, Podere l’Aja, Podere Terreno alla Volpaia, Poggerino, Pruneto, Tenuta Carleone di Castiglioni, Terrabianca, Val delle Corti, Vignavecchia.
