Christmas is just around the corner, and like every year the Cortefreda Restaurant in Tavarnelle opens its doors to its customers, inviting them to spend these holidays in the most pleasant way.
This is the perfect time to enjoy delicious flavours and to share in true family values. “A not-to-be-missed day for our regular guests – they say at the Cortefreda restaurant – but also for those who want to discover all the pleasure of our cuisine”.
Here’s the Christmas lunch menu (45 euros per person, including wine) at the Cortefreda restaurant.
- Trio of Starters: “Bicchierino” of Chicken liver and lentils with crunchy wafer; Cauliflower, broccoli and gorgonzola flan; Mini sandwich with Tuscan boiled meat and mustard.
- First courses: Duck breast, pomegranate and Port wine risotto; Yellow pumpkin tortelli stuffed with ricotta cheese and rigatino, with leek and amaretto crumb sauce.
- Second courses: Tender veal fillet with mushroom sauce and brandy chips of celeriac brandy chips and puree.
- Dessert: Cannoli stuffed with pistachio Chantilly cream with nougat ice cream.
