After the excellent dinner on the 5th November – that saw the collaboration of three Michelin starred chefs – the Restaurant La Torre of the Castello del Nero in Tavarnelle organises a new unmissable dinner.

On Thursday 15th November at 8pm the executive chef of La Torre (one Michelin star) Giovanni Luca di Pirro will cook side by side with the executive chef of the Restaurant Il Piccolo Principe in Viareggio (two Michelin stars) Giuseppe Mancino. All paired with the wines of Ferrari Trento by Tenute Lunelli.

The dinner will start with the “Welcome of the Chefs” in Sala Gran Camino with finger food and Ferrari Perlé 2012.

The menu is as follows: Pan-fried scallops on mashed potatoes and beetroot with stewed Jerusalem artichokes and truffle sauce (Chef Di Pirro), Ferrari Perlé 2012.

Raw shrimp scampi, cooked buffalo milk, green apple and lime (Chef Mancino), Ferrari Riserva Perlé Bianco 2009.

Straccetti fresh pasta with scorpionfish sauce (Chef Di Pirro), Ferrari Riserva Perlé Rosé 2013.

Roasted brill, goose liver, carrots and ginger (Chef Mancino), Ferrari Riserva Perlé Nero 2010.

Casentino ‘Grey pig’ cheek, potato, apple and braised savoy cabbage (Chef Di Pirro), Auritea, Costa Toscana I.G.T. Cabernet Franc 2015, Tenute Lunelli.

And for dessert… Goat cheese ‘cremoso’, chocolate and spicy persimmon chutney (Chef Di Pirro), Ferrari Maximum Demi-Sec. Mini pastries; Trolley with pralines and macarons; mineral water and coffee.
