In the year dedicated to Italian food, the Città dell’Olio in Tuscany (Olive Oil Towns) celebrate their landscape and the centuries-old olive oil culture, with the second edition of the “Camminata tra gli olivi”“Walking among olive trees” – that will take place on Sunday, October 28th.

In Tuscany, 17 municipalities – in the provinces of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Grosseto, Arezzo and Livorno – celebrate the national olive oil day, with new itineraries and evocative walks around the countryside.

Reggello in the province of Florence, Castellina in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Chiusi, Montepulciano, Murlo, Rapolano Terme, Sarteano, Sinalunga and Trequanda in the province of Siena, Buti, Riparbella and Vicopisano in the province of Pisa, Capalbio and Pitigliano in the province of Grosseto, Castiglion Fiorentino in the province of Arezzo and Rosignano Marittimo in the province of Livorno.

Each town has selected a route through olive groves, where people can appreciate the beauty of this landscape and see how olive cultivation has shaped the land. You’ll be visiting historic houses, mills and villages with a timeless appeal.
