The first edition of the Festival delle Scoperte (“Festival of Discoveries”) will be held at the Meleto Castle in Gaiole in Chianti on the weekend of 24th and 25th March, with a rich program of events such as conferences, workshops, exhibitions and shows.

Professors, scientists, intellectuals and artists will gather here to talk about the wonders of discovery to enthusiasts, professionals, families, adults and children of all ages.

Ample space will be dedicated to the discovery of the Chianti territory, and participants will also be able to learn about photography, literature, psychology and art.

On both days it will be possible to participate in various workshops, including the LEGO® Serious Play® creative project. For the youngest, workshops that will explore the discovery of fire, cave paintings and animated readings.

Both days will end with a show by the Teatro dell’Accademia degli Accesi, a company that dates back to the 18th century, and a buffet dinner for the public.

The location is the Castello di Meleto, a 11th century castle that watches over the surrounding vineyards and woods. The Festival will take place in the frescoed rooms of the Piano Nobile and in the gardens.

The ticket will give you access to the conferences and workshops. You’ll need an additional ticket for the theatre shows.
