A special dinner will be organised in the La Torre restaurant (one Michelin star) of the Castello del Nero on the 21st of December, in anticipation of the Christmas celebration.

It will be a unique evening, in which four Michelin starred hands will prepare a complete game based menu: the executive chef of the Castello del Nero, Giovanni Luca di Pirro, and the chef Igles Corelli (Atman Restaurant at Villa Rospigliosi, Lamporecchio, one Michelin star).

Thursday, December 21st from 8pm, will be a time of culinary greatness. Chef Corelli will bring his unique style of “Garibaldina cuisine” to the Castle. Together with Di Pirro, he will delight the most demanding palates with a game themed menu. All paired with the Tenute Lunelli wines.

The program of the evening is as follows: Chefs welcome the guests in the Sala Gran Camino before going into the restaurant. The menu: Smoked roe deer tartare with vegetables ‘in osmosis’ (dish of the chef Igles Corelli, paired with Aliotto 2015, Tenute Lunelli).

Game risotto with parmesan ice cream (chef Igles Corelli, Teuto 2013, Tenute Lunelli); Wild boar fillet, beetroot, strawberry grape and turnip tops (chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro, Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G. 2013, Tenute Lunelli).

Dessert: Cream of persimmon with marron glacé ice cream; Chocolate and liquorice brittle with chestnut biscuit and apricot puree (chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro, Ferrari Demi Sec Trento DOC). Mini pastry; Dessert trolley with pralines and macaroons; Mineral water, Grappa Segnana, and coffee.
