When visiting the Chianti region, why not celebrating Christmas in a wine cellar?

The Castello Vicchiomaggio in Greve in Chianti offers a special wine tasting opportunity during the Immacolata long weekend (8-10 December).

In the Cantinetta San Jacopo, at Castello Vicchiomaggio, you’ll have the chance to taste all the wines produced by the estate, including the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione “La Prima” and the IGT Supertuscan “Ripa delle More”.

The wine tasting will include delicious ‘bruschetta’, toasted Tuscan bread garnished with this year’s extra virgin olive oil. Traditional Christmas sweets will be accompanied by the typical Vin Santo sweet wine.

In the Cantinetta you’ll also find plenty of gift ideas for a unique and unforgettable Christmas. The little ones will have coloured pencils to draw with, and there will be a Christmas photo booth so you can take a few fun photos to remind you of the day.

Tasting costs 4 euros per person. Contacts and information: 055854079 – info@vicchiomaggio.it.
