After last year’s success, Happy Hour returns 33 meters in the air, in the magnificent Torre (Tower) del Chianti, also called the “Torre dell’Acqua”, in San Casciano’s city center.

There, the summer location of the Tenda Rossa restaurant invites you for peace and entertainment, with a wraparound panorama and art objects available for your pleasure.

Every Tuesday and Friday, starting on June 21 and for all of July and some of August, you can enjoy an aperitif (from 7pm to midnight) or an inviting “cena a sacco” (bagged dinner), from 9pm till midnight.

All is accompanied by unconventional furnishings, there to create an entertaining and elegant contrast, with a unique effect that will help you enjoy the evening.

The experience is fantastic: you climb a glass elevator for 33 meters and arrive on top to enjoy a breathtaking, 360 degree view of the Chianti hills, Sienese towns, Brunelleschi’s Dome and, when the sky is clear, even the Mediterranean!

A drink and a snack are there to welcome you, and then, if you desire prolonging your aperitif, the knowledgeable hands of Maria Probst and Cristian Santandrea, chefs of the Tenda Rossa restaurant, have created special “packages” to go with the wines and spirits.

From 9pm on, the hungry can delight in a “cena a sacco”, bagged dinner, with a special menu to enjoy from above. For the fireworks of the San Cassiano holiday on August 13, there will be a special dinner.

Reservations are necessary at: info@latendarossa.it or at 055 826132. Please indicate the number of persons and time and if the reservation is for the aperitif or dinner.
