There are secret and magical corners to discover with awe within the Chianti territory. We find ourselves in San Casciano, in via Scopeti, in the woods between the restaurant, “La Baracchina” and the Greve bridge.
Here the wooded area leads to a precipice ending at a small stream; an enchanted corner where the water runs along large masses, smoothed by erosion and creating tiny waterfalls; it’s like being in the middle of a fairy tale.
Walk through the woods, listen to the water, watch the sun filter through the tree branches. This, too is Chianti; secret spaces, to be protected and watched over.
